Aluminum magnesium silicate (NEUSILIN), literally translated as aluminum magnesium metasilicate, 

is a substance with a very large specific surface area and a well-developed microporous system. 

It can be used as an adsorbent, absorbent (able to absorb three times the mass of liquid), moisture-proof agent, and so on. But insoluble in water and alcohol.
