Ethylhexyl triazone is an efficient UV B filter with an ultra-high absorption rate of more than 1500 at 314nm. 

Due to its high A1/1 value, a high SPF value can be obtained at a very small concentration in cosmetics and sunscreen formulations. 

Due to its complete insolubility in water, this characteristic is further enhanced. Due to Supersaturation, Ethylhexyl triazone will crystallize after long-term storage.
